Ted Kennedy

Here's a Ted Kennedy illustration I did before he passed away that never got published. I figure with the healthcare debate raging, this would be appropriate to share. Despite what has been said about some of his past alleged indiscretions, I think he did a lot of good for equal rights in this country.

Nice one indeed.

True , for all his flaws , he really did carry the mantle for John & Robert Kennedy. He served his country well.

On another note , when did this notion of a super majority ( 60%) become the benchmark for being able to pass legislation? Obama should do what the GOP did for 8 yrs and just push things through the congress & house. Last I checked , 51% is all you need.

Thanks Tom and Dominic. I wish this illustration got published but hopefully it will be used for something in the future.

Dominic - I agree that Obama should start showing a little less mercy for a party that no longer knows the meaning of the word compromise. I think he's going to finally push it through and hopefully soon I can start going to the doctor when I'm sick haha.
